Susan Gross lives in Temple, Pa., with her husband, Strother. She is originally from Yardley, Pa., and is a graduate of Pennsbury High School and Bucks County Community College. She attended Eastern College for two years. Susan works in a preschool and volunteers with local community organizations. She loves to spend time with her children and grandchildren in Kansas City, Washington State, and Pottstown, Pa. A portion of the proceeds from James and the Mountain will go towards her grandchildren's education. Susan wrote this and her first book, Adventure On in the Big, Big World, to honor her late son James.
