Margie Peterson grew up in Ramsey, N.J., the daughter of two writers. She graduated from University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in English and worked in journalism in Washington, D.C. and Pottsville, PA before settling with her husband in Salisbury Township, outside Allentown, PA.  She toiled in newspapers while raising two children and later became a freelance writer. The Boy Who Never Threw Anything Out is her first book.
